Calor gas introduced a volatility charge across all bottles on the 18th May 2026 due to disruptions around supply because of the American / Iran war. We made the decision as a business to absorb this cost in the hope this would be a temporary measure and not pass this onto our customers. Unfortunately 2 months later this cost is still in place with no sign of being removed anytime soon. Therefore we have made the difficult decision to increase the prices.
How are we working to keep prices down
1. We haven't increased our prices on Calor gas since April 2024 as we know how much prices have increased over the past few years.
2. We still offer FREE local delivery on all bottles priced over £35 which is a fantastic service we know many of you use.
3. We also pride ourselves and work hard to have a well stocked supply despite challenges behind the scenes.
4. You can also use discount code "CALORDISCOUNT" on our website to save 10% on any other purchase with a calor gas refill.
5. If and when the surcharge is lifted we will adjust our prices accordingly.
