June 2026 Shop Update

Hello, thanks for stopping by,

June has been an absolute scorcher of a month and another busy few weeks in the shop. Plants and garden materials have been flying out the door as well as more. Here is what has been going on in the shop in June:

5 Years of Blogs

I started writing these blogs five years ago this month. What started off as a quick shop update has transformed into something I genuinely love to do at the end of each month. It's lovely to look back on what we have been up to for the last month and tell you all about it. I had no idea when I started that it would keep going and look forward to continuing on so thanks for taking the time to keep reading our blogs.

St Anne's Church Summer Fair

On the 6th of June we took a full show of our plants to St Anne's Church Summer Fair. It was a great day and brilliant to chat with some customers new and old. Its also a great way for us to support our local community and raise some money for them with some of our takings being given to them.

The wrong sort of biscuits

One of our customers said they had some biscuits to send in so Tim set off to pick them up. He was looking forward to cracking them open and having them with a nice cuppa.
Unfortunately Steve forgot to mention these were wooden biscuits for the workshop so not much of a sweet treat but you definitely would get a few dips out of them!
Better luck next time Tim 🤣 🍪
We love to see your photos
We've had some cracking photos of your plants in this month and love to see your photos of supplies and projects we have helped with so keep sending them in!
We are fully stocked to get you BBQ fired up and ready for the world cup celebrations. Whether its coal, gas or other supplies we have you covered.
Not to mention we offer FREE local delivery on all orders over £35. So let us do the heavy lifting whilst you sit back and hopefully enjoy the football by ordering here
We were asked to make a set of wooden stocks for a school summer fete. So Adam set to work to get these built and then had to test them out just to be sure! We really enjoyed making these and look forward to seeing them in action! The set is designed to be easily dismantled and assembled without the use of tools so can be stored easily when not in use. If you would like your own set then click here

We were hit by a sweltering heatwave and many of you stocked up on a fan or two to get you through. Including Christine who popped in and made a cool purchase. We completely sold out in such a short space of time!
Thanks for reading we love to read your comments or thoughts so drop us a message below.

All the best
