BEFORE YOU START:

• Planning ahead really helps, prepare the surfaces and choose the right tools.
• If necessary, move or cover your furniture.
• Make sure all surfaces are clean, dry and free from dirt, grease and grime.
• Prepare any powdery, flaky or textured surfaces by removing all loose material and prime with a suitable sealer.
• Don’t forget to keep the room well ventilated, this helps reduce drying times.
  
• Painting your ceiling, then the walls and woodwork is the best order.
  
• Make sure you wear a suitable mask to protect yourself, from inhaling dust, when dry sanding.
  
• If you’re using more than one batch of paint in the same area, mix them together in a large container to ensure you get consistency of colour.
• 
  HOW TO USE:
• If you’re painting new plaster or porous surfaces, seal the surface by adding a coat of paint diluted with up to 40% of clean water.
• If surface to be painted has any sheen, thoroughly abrade to provide suitable adhesion.
• Stir your paint thoroughly before use and apply nice and evenly using a brush or roller (a medium pile roller is best for smooth surfaces).
  
• Don’t apply in really damp or humid conditions or in room temperatures below 10°C.
