January saw some pretty chilly weather hit us and we even had snow! But not to worry we have you covered for the snow and Ice this winter, whether you need a sledge for a snow day or some rock salt to grit the drive look no further! Bring us your plastic sweet tubs to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support
Simply drop off your tubs at our shop - Daymans DIY, 103 King Richards Road, LE3 5QG. We are open 8am to 5:30pm Monday to Saturday.
Greene King pubs are running their Tub2Pub scheme where you can hand in your confectionary & sweet tubs and they will recycle them and donate money to Macmillan Cancer Support
So bring your tubs down to us and we will collect them all up and donate them in one go when the scheme ends on the 8th February.
All plastic tubs must be clean and they will accept Roses, Quality Street, Celebrations, Heroes, Haribo, Jacobs Crackers etc.

£801 raised for Andys Man Club
We were so pleased to meet Rory from Andys Man Club Leicester Forest East Club today to celebrate the £801 which we have raised through our Christmas raffle. A huge thank you to everyone that supported the raffle both to those who donated items and bought raffle tickets. Groups like this do such great work in the community so we are so pleased to be able to support them.
Andys Man Club creates a space for men to talk about their mental health and get peer support with no judgement so check them out.
We have a stash of solid Vintage British Made Handles & Knobs ready and waiting for your projects. We are so pleased to reach Shopify's 100,000 order milestone. We partnered up with Shopify in 2020 for our in store and online system. As a small family run business this has transformed our business and also our ability to let you see what we have and order from the comfort of your own home.

We want to wish our Dad, Steve a huge Happy Birthday today for his 60th! We have even convinced him to take the day off to celebrate. Steve works his socks off 6 days and sometimes 7 days a week to keep the shop going and has been here for 44 years! Experiencing the highs and lows of running a business but always has a smile on his face. He's so proud of the shop and what we are achieving which is a testament to his hard work over the years!
