Now more than ever we all have a part to play in reducing our impact on the environment. Well we wanted to make it easier for our customers to choose alternative products which have less of an environmental impact.
Eco Friendly Alternatives Category
This category will display a whole range of items from natural hand brushes to fibre pots. After all if you can achieve the same end result for your job or task in hand then why not help the environment in the process.
We will also be increasing our range of plastic packaging free items like we have already done with our plastic packaging free fat balls.
This is the start of our journey into offering eco-friendly alternatives and we want this range to grow and our customers to rely on these products as their standard items.
What we already do:
- Offer loose fixtures & fittings to save on unwanted packaging.
- We have swapped plastic bags for degradeable bags and charge 10p per bag to encourage you to bring your own bag.
- We offer free wood cutting so you can buy what you need and reduce on waste.
- We hand make many of our own items to reduce on shipping these in.
- We buy all of our plants from a British grower to reduce on transport pollution.
